Getting Close Posted: Jun 29, 2006 13:10 PDT
I am on the phone about 5 times a day with my partner Pat, N9RV. We are working through every detail, reliving our experience from 1996 and 2002 and making sure we do not make the same mistakes again. Our emotional energy is very high at this point and we are ready to go to PY! Pat and I are pushing each other to make sure we do better than our #22 finish in OH during WRTC 2002. We both are spending our evenings soldering custom control boxes and cables. Some of the testing occured last weekend during Field Day and some will occer this weekend. This is exciting!
