Still Building and Testing for team RV/LR
Posted: Jul 1, 2006 13:08 PDT

This is the 3rd WRTC for me (K3LR) and my partner Pat, N9RV. Each time we are better prepared. We have built many new special boxes to help our operation this time. Overnight I thought up two more boxes that would help. The engineering is complete and the beta units are finished and in testing here at my home in Oklahoma City. After today we are in a lock down for packing so I expect these new boxes will be the last ones for the RV/LR team.

I have all of the items that I am bringing labeled and recorded in our WRTC master database.

Pat and I had 10 emails yesterday and 8 phone calls. Pat is mowing his grass today at his home station, so we'll talk later tonight to sync up on todays progress and address all open issues.

Planning is critical.
