WRTC 2006

This will be my first WRTC and I'm excited to be part of the first YL team (with Emily P43E) in history to compete in WRTC. I leave for Florianopolis on 4 July and arrive 5 July at 1320.
Last week many of us cancelled our flights on VARIG due to the bankrupcy situation and rebooked on other airlines. The additional cost of $200 on GOL airlines was well worth it though as it has cut over 6 hours of layover time and a bus ride across Sao Paulo to catch my VARIG flight to Florianopolis. It has also cut over 6 hours and a layover in Porto Alegre on the return trip.
I am looking forward to the competition.
