After a short visit to Asia my bag has finally arrived !

About 2145 local last evening my checked bag finally arrived. It had a Rush tag on it with flight info and Airport designators. It did get on the flight with me from Sao Paulo to Toronto but it was mis-boarded in Toronto. Instead of going to MHT (Manchester, NH), it went to NRT (Narita, Japan). It sat in Japan for a couple of days before it was boarded on Air Canada flight #2 back to Toronto and then sent on the flight to Manchester, NH. I guess my bag couldn't accept the fact that it's vacation was over and decided to take a side trip to Japan :).

Good news Ann. I hope your bags got frequent traveller miles ! In any case, you got all of them and it's better when it happens on your return flight after a contest than on your flight to the contest place. It happened to me when I went to 6W for CQ WW DX CW last november. My heavy suitcase with a Mark V and antenna rigging tools in it was missent from CT to D4, D4 to CT, 2 days stand-by in CT and finally 6W. I really needed the tools, more than my clothes ! It finally showed up with 4 days delay.
